Lightspeed is seeking its full-time Sales Manager to lead our Sales team in London. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this role is responsible for owning revenue generation in the UK market through the delivery of the Business Development team.

The ideal candidate will have experience selling technology-based solutions, and will not be afraid of a fast-paced, high-energy Inside Sales environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage selling activities (Business Development) for SMB in the UK region by delivering subscription revenue against monthly, quarterly and annual targets
  • Act as the Sales Manager and delegate tasks accordingly
  • Own hiring and staffing of Sales team in the UK (Business Development)
  • Monitoring the Sales team’s performance in the London office and motivating individual contributors to reach targets
  • Coordinate 1-on-1s with Business Development representatives to discuss pipeline, achievements and general discussions around improvements
  • Provide coaching and professional development to the team
  • Oversee the Business Development initiatives and provide assistance to support the rest of the BD team
  • Develop accurate forecasts and manage sales activities in our CRM
  • Become Subject Matter Expert of Lightspeed products to understand how Lightspeed’s suite of products can be applied to all stages of sales accounts –attracting, engaging, converting, growing and retaining accounts
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by Senior management

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in a solution-sales / technology-related environment
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience with and solid understanding of quoting, invoicing, and purchasing
  • Experience successfully selling into the UK market
  • Full professional proficiency in English
